Medicine Store Owner Held For Selling Fake Drugs
Bhubaneswar: The owner of a drug store in Bargarh was arrested on late Wednesday night on charges of selling fake medicines. He has been identified as Sunil Agrawal, the owner of Ashok Medical Hall.
Agarwal was arrested on the basis of a complaint from the Bargarh Drugs Inspector. He was booked under Sections 274, 275, 276, 420, 467, 468, 471,120B, 336, 483, 486 and 34 of IPC.
Besides, three drug suppliers of Varanasi – Baby Enterprises, JP Medicals and Guru Kripa Medical – have been accused of the sale, supply and distribution of spurious drugs in Odisha.
