Keonjhar: A man died after an elephant seeking food crashed through the wall of his house at Raikudar village under Ghatagaon block of Keonjhar district on Monday.
The deceased identified as Rabi Mahanta was fast asleep with his wife when the elephant broke into the house causing the wall to collapse on Rabi.
He was rushed in a critical condition to Ghatagaon Community Health Centre (CHC) where he was declared dead. The forest department has launched an investigation into the incident.
