A man was allegedly crushed to death by a goods train in Sambalpur district on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the incident occurred while the victim was crossing the railway tracks when a goods train hit him, said reports. Subsequently, he died on the spot.
On getting information, the Government Railway Police (GRP) reached the spot and recovered the body for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway in this regard, officials said.
