Bhubaneswar: A man was charred to death after the vehicle he was travelling caught fire after ramming into a tree near Karlakhaman under Gobindpur police limits of Sambalpur district late Monday night.
Reportedly, four persons were returning in the vehicle from Simdega near Ranchi in Jharkhand after attending a ring ceremony when the accident occurred. Three of them managed to escape from the vehicle but one got stuck.
While the stuck passenger got charred to death, the remaining three were injured and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
