Kendrapara / Balasore: Two girl students allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in different areas of Odisha after scoring less marks in Plus II exam, whose results were announced today.
While one student in Simulia (Balasore) sustained critical injuries after she attempted to end her life by jumping from the roof, another student jumped into Brahmani river in Pattamundai, in Kendrapara district.
Sources said, the girl who jumped into Bramhani river has scored 87% marks in the +2 exams. She was rescued and shifted to Kendrapara district headquarters hospital in a critical condition.
