While mystery continues to shroud the death of DJ Azex, family members filed a police complaint attributing his death to mental harassment and disturbance in his personal life.
Meanwhile, Azex’s best friend Rahul claimed that a triangular love story was behind the DJ’s death. He alleged that Azex’s girlfriend was in a relationship with another youth and they were blackmailing the DJ.
“Azex was under mental stress because of his girlfriend for the last 15 days. Despite my advice, he had paid Rs 15,000 to his girlfriend. He was also planning to buy a Scooty for his girlfriend,” Rahul claimed.
After receiving a written complaint from Azex’s mother, the Kharabela Nagar police have launched a probe into the matter.
According to the deceased’s family, Akshay and his girlfriend, who is studying in a private medical college in Bhubaneswar, were in a relationship for the past year. Whatsapp chat between the two revealed that she was exploiting Akshay for money and also demanding a two-wheeler from him, the FIR added.
WhatsApp chats also revealed that Akshay had even transferred Rs 15,000 to her account through PhonePe. The girl however ditched him and got involved with another male friend who started threatening Akshay to leave her failing which he would leak an intimate video of them, the FIR read.
