Bhubaneswar: Notorious criminal, the Commissionerate Police has arrested Raghav Jena, the mastermind of the land-grabbing case in Nayapalli and several shop ransacking incidents.
The police on April 12, 2023 demolished the house of Raghav Jena, in the mastermind in the Nayapalli land grabbing case. The Nayapalli police had issued a notice with the help of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The police have seized many sharp weapons and incriminating materials from Jena during his arrest, sources informed.
Jena was wanted in four cases lodged at Nayapalli police station in Bhubaneswar.
It is worth mentioning that the mastermind of the entire plot Raghav Jena is still in the hiding. To catch him, three special teams have been formed in and outside the State.
Furthermore it is worth mentioning that, the bulldozer had been run over the houses in Jharpada area of Bhubaneswar today. The police had arrested five accused in this incident on April 10, 2023.
The enforcement squad with the help of the Commissionerate Police had demolished as many as 30 houses of Jena.
Jena had encroached upon the government land in the capital city and rented out houses built over the illegally occupied land to earn money.
