Bhubaneswar: Three people including a woman were killed in separate incidents of elephant attack in Odisha in the last 24 hours. The deceased persons have been identified as Alekh Naik and Bari Naik of Dhenkanal, and a 52-year-old woman of Kalahandi.
Alekh was attacked by an elephant when he had gone to attend nature’s call today morning, while Bari was killed by another elephant today when he was trying to chase it away. The woman was attacked while she was plucking cotton in her field on Friday.
