Drunk Man Falls into pot of boiling curry cauldron in Tangi; Shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar

An inebriated man, identified as Pratap Mahapatra fell into a cauldron full of boiling hot curry at Haripur village under Tangi police station limits on Sunday night.

The victim was shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar as his condition deteriorated.

According to reports, Pratap’s uncle was supervising the cooking of a mass feast of social function. Pratap, despite being in a drunk state started inspecting the food items. While doing so, he lost balance and fell into a cauldron full of hot curry and received serious burn injuries.

The locals rescued him and admitted him to the Tangi CHC. Later he was shifted to Bhubaneswar AIIMS.
