CM Naveen Reviews Facilities At Jamukoli Goshala
Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation-run Goshala at Jamukoli in Jatni and conducted a review of the facilities.
He looked around the various arrangements, the quality of food being given at the Goshala, and also fed fruits and vegetables to some of the cattle. A newborn calf there was nambed Krishna by the Chief Minister. He also gave instructions for the protection and proper care of the cattle.
It is worth noting that the Goshala had been set up in Jamukoli in 2018 on a 5.5 acre land by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. It is proposed to expand it to an area of 20.5 acres. It currently has 906 cows. Stray cattle are mainly kept here.
