Bhubaneswar: The Chile Men’s Hockey Team arrived in Odisha on Thursday for the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela. The team received a warm welcome at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
Chile will be making its debut in the FIH Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023. It will be facing New Zealand at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela on January 14.
The 16 teams competing in the tournament are Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, India, Argentina, Germany, New Zealand, England, France, Korea, Malaysia, Spain, South Africa, Japan, Chile, and Wales.
