With an eye on the 2024 elections, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) chief and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday appointed new party observers for the 30 districts of Odisha.
As per the list, BJD’s Organisational Secretary and Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das has been made observer for four districts, while controversial MLA Dibya Shankar Mishra has been appointed as the observer for two districts.
“In supersession of all the previous orders, the following BJD leaders have been appointed as district observers,” an office order said. Check the list here:
Similarly, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak has been given the charge as observer for two districts.
