Bhubaneswar: Youth Dies After Fall From City High-Rise; Family Alleges Murder
Bhubaneswar: An Integrated MSc student of the Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR), died after falling from the eighth floor of Chandrama Apartment under Kharvel Nagar police limits in Bhubaneswar on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Anurag Manas Tudu and he was a Law student.
According to preliminary information, Subhajyoti had a telephonic conversation with his parents last night.
On Monday morning, his parents tried to call him but received no response. Police and Subhajyoti’s parents were informed.
However, it is still unclear under what circumstances he went to the eighth floor of the apartment and fell from there leading to his death, sources informed.
However, prima facie evidence suggests that it is a case of suicide, the policeman added.
On being informed, Kharvel Nagar police reached the spot and launched a probe into the death.
