In a tragic accident, two youths charred to death after their bike caught fire following a collision with a concrete mixer machine near Kandarpur toll gate in Cuttack district of Odisha.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, the accident took place around 2.00 am when the bike hit a concrete mixer parked along the road as they were on their way to Paradip from Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur district. Following the collision, the bike caught fire leaving them critically injured.
Though Kandarpur police took the duo to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, they were pronounced dead.
The police seized the bike and concrete mixer and further investigation is underway.
