Balasore: Three persons died in a series accident involving a Scorpio, an oil tanker and a car on National Highway 16 near Jamujhadi village under Simulia police limits of Balasore district in the wee hours of Monday.
As per sources, two families from Hooghly in West Bengal were on their way to Puri in the Scorpio. The vehicle first hit the oil tanker and than a car.
The deceased persons have been identified as Shankar Rao, his wife Parbati Das, and the Scorpio driver. Four persons were also injured in the accident. They have been admitted to Soro Hospital.
