Now the kind of coronation is over after Prime Minister Narendra Modi bypassed several constitutional ethics has inaugurated the new Parliament on May 28.

This was done when 20 political parties boycotted the event and the event has invited sharp political reaction from several quarters.

In a contrasting scenario the Congress has said that the PM is just hiding the intent of a ‘coronation’ and said that the parliament is the voice of people that cannot be seen as an affair of the BJP or Modi. But it did look like that.

Modi while saying that the new Parliament is a symbol of pride, hope, and promise. “May this iconic building be a cradle of empowerment, igniting dreams

and nurturing them into reality. May it propel our great nation to new heights of progress.

Political observers across the board wonder how a new Parliament building will take India to a new high!

An occasion like that cannot be monopolized as a party event when the Constitution mandates that it is the President of India who is the person to have inaugurated the new Parliament. But, sadly both the President and the Vice president have not been even invited, something many have dubbed the event as a gross violation of the spirit of the Constitution.

As per the protocol in such occasions it is the President who can reign as the head of the Constitution when he or she is the supreme followed by the Vice President and after that comes the PM.
