Telangana will remain secular Telangana will remain secular: CM KCR
Hyderabad, Nov 16 : Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Supremo and Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Thursday said that as long as “ KCR is alive, Telangana will remain secular”
Addressing a Praja Ashirwada Sabha in Adilabad, KCR said the BRS government will come again in the state and a coalition government will be formed in the country in the coming days.
Appealing to people to vote for the Car symbol and make BRS win in the coming elections in the state, he said the Congress party saw the minorities as a vote bank as it had spent only Rs 2000 crores for minority welfare. However, the BRS spent 12,000 crores during the 10-year government and set up residential schools and residential colleges to provide quality education to minority children, he said.
Despite writing hundreds of letters to Prime Minister Modi, Telangana was not given a single medical college or a single Navodaya school. If you vote for BJP, it will go into the drain, he told the public..
Democracy has matured in the developed countries but India is still lagging, KCR said
the vote is a strong weapon and people should exercise their adult franchise carefully.
Voters should look into the qualities of the candidates and also the history of the parties before casting their vote, he said the BRS party was born for the people of Telangana and the achievement of Telangana state. The BRS government is successfully running with all your blessings.
Introduced an excellent policy for the welfare of farmers which is not available in any other state in the country, he added.
