Kolkata, Nov 21 : Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday
announced former BCCI president Sourav Ganguly as the new
Brand Ambassador of West Bengal on the inaugural day of the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) here.
Acknowledging Ganguly’s leadership as the cricketer and his
sportsmanship, Banerjee said, ” His potential will positively influence the younger generation of the state. ”
“ Sourav is a very well known figure and he can work for the young
generation in a very good manner. I want to involve him as the Brand Ambassador of Bengal, ” added Banerjee.
