The news those dominate the times now-a-days are about raids, interrogations, quizzing and so on by the CBI, NIA, ED and similar such agencies on a regular basis.
In the thick of such high-profile probes what remain hidden are the blood cuddling incidents of other crimes of shocking nature.
It were still recent what were all such dangerous incidents preceded one after the other.
One of the most bestial acts was the Aftab Poonawala and Shradhha Walkar. Every bit reported in the media. He killed, his confessions, admissions and the 35 pieces he made from Walkar’s body. All before the investigators and before the courts.
Yet he eases himself in the jail and making routine demands of things.
Similarly barbarous was the incident involving Nikky Yadav and Sahil where Sahil killed her, chopped or whatsoever and hid those inside a bed. Although other reports said that, he took the pieces and kept them in a fridge of a roadside Dhaba.
Both the accused are cooling their heels in the jails.
Look at the case of Sukesh Chandrasekhar, a billionaire conman, having an incriminating deal with a Bollywood heroine. He is in jail and growing in health and asking for books!
And every other week, he writes a letter after letter to the LG of Delhi picking names of a political party alleging their involvement in his fraudulent deals in the past.
Tests, probes, trials and appearances, the tales are endless and the national probing agencies remain incognito for days and months.
Such incidents have stirred the conscience of the nation but of the political fraternity; unmoved and numbed.
If is an issue of politics, the same agencies visit and revisit their stock manuals to look for anything conclusive with evidence.
A glance at the recent ‘hilarious’ utterance by the Congress leader Pawan Khera was made to be as if a very deadly crime inviting he being deplaned on board and arrested.
Although the former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia now in custody, not a shred of evidence could be found.
Politicians can well be easily buttonholed by not very substantial grounds but for those deadly criminals like Poonawla or Sahil remain lodged at public expenses in jails and enjoy showing no sign of remorse , let alone guilt.
