Patna, Dec 19 : Ace poll strategist and founder of “Jan Suraj ” mission Prashant Kishore on Tuesday got impetus from transgenders with their two senior leaders announcing to extend full support to hm.
Two senior leaders of transgenders’ union Priya Manglamukhi and Shanti Manglamukhi joined “Jan Suraj” mission as its founding members in its office.Spokesman of the mission Sanjay Kumar Thakur and officer-in-charge Mohit Sinha handed over membership certificates to both the leaders.
Priya Manglamukhi speaking on the occasion, said that transgenders were always prepared to play their vital roles in nation building but not given proper opportunities. It was most unfortunate that only role transgenders had been playing so far, was to bless newly born child and entertain their family members, she added.
” We appreciate that Prashant Kishore has launched mission named as ‘Jan Suraj’ to create a political awareness among the people to strive to ensure good governance”, Priya, a mass communication degree holder and student of MBA said adding that she would launch an interaction programme soon to contact transgenders so that they could also get associated with the mission launched by Prashant Kishore.
Spokesman of “Jan Suraj” Thakur said that transgenders were left largely neglected. They deserved better treatment so that nation could get benefitted from their efforts and talents, he noted.
