Postmortem of politics: Was it a coincidence or a tailored designed to send Sisodia to jail?

There seems to be no respite for the former deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in sight. Just hours to go when Sisodia’s bail application was to be heard, the ED arrested him on March 9 before the petition was to be heard by the CBI court.

What is puzzling that, even after two days long marathon quizzing on his alleged involvement in Delhi Excise scam, just a day before he was arrested by the ED, reports a national English channel.

Critics and leaders from the non-BJP have allegedly seen that as a political maneuvering to keep him in jail.

This comes as a fatal blow to the embattled leader, who has been attempting to secure bail in a CBI court over the last few days.

Interestingly,  Sisodia is also likely to be produced by the ED in court tomorrow, on the same day that his bail hearing will be taken up.

It appears that the ED and the CBI are both on a roaster duty chart to see Sisodia remains inside and the CBI was first arrested by CBI which never found any evidence and now the hearing of his bail on the same day, that is on Friday seems well calculated to finish his hopes for a bail from CBI court.
