Patna, May 28 : Amid much hue and cry by opposition parties over Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the new parliament building, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday said time has come to save the nation from those trying to change history.
Kumar while addressing a function organised by his party JD(U) here, said that some people were trying to change the history of the nation.
The Chief Minister said that he has been making sustained efforts to unite opposition parties across the country to take on BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Positive results of his efforts would be visible soon, he remarked.
Kumar said his government had successfully suppressed all those trying to create communal disharmony in the state. No one trying to flare up communal tension would be spared, he warned andexhorted his party workers to remain alert to foil their sinister design.
