Kendrapara, Sep 11 : The forest personnel of Rajnagar forest Range have rescued a
four –feet- long Estuarine crocodile from Kulasahi ghat trapped in a fishing net.
Forest officials on Monday said two fishermen while catching fish near Kulasahi ghat on
Sunday night noticed the juvenile crocodile stuck in the fishing nets.
They pulled the reptile entangled fishing net to the mainland and informed Rajnagar forest
Range personnel.
The Rajnagar forest Range personnel rushed to the spot, rescued the saltwater crocodile and
later released it in the wild of Bhitarkanika National park .
