AFSPA-shielded soldiers are law unto themselves. Not restricted to Nagaland. Entire NE States, Assam, J&K and Central India are their hunting grounds, reports said.
The SC, NHRC and some judicial commissions had recommended prosecution of hundreds of soldiers involved in extortion, stealing, raping, maiming and killing of civilians in the guise of anti-insurgency operations.
Cong, the Team A, didn’t do a damn. BJP, the Team B, treats Jawans as Holy Cows. Next only to Lord Ram. Bhakts will revolt if Defence Ministry gives sanction for prosecution of the rogue soldiers.
If the uniformed men are prosecuted and punished, what will happen to the morale of the armed forces? Who will protect Bharat Mata? Hell with Rule of Law and Human Rights!
