Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug 27 : NCP (Ajit Pawar group) state president and member of Parliament, Sunil Tatkare, on Saturday asserted that they will contest upcoming elections under the leadership of Ajit Pawar.
For this reason, they will launch a state-wide tour after tomorrow’s (Sunday) public rally in Beed, he told reporters after the party workers meet here.
He further said that the public meeting at Beed tomorrow is an accountability meeting.
Speaking further, the NCP (Ajit Pawar group) chief said that they decided to join the grand alliance state government in order to put Maharashtra on the path of development in a more dynamic manner.
While making this decision, all the NCP leaders, under the leadership of Ajit Pawar, sat together on July 2 and decided to participate in the NDA and the grand coalition government in the state, he said.
Their ministers have been given the responsibility of different districts, he said and informed that they have re-started the Janata Darbar.
The NCP, under the leadership of Ajit Pawar, is committed to solving the problems of youth, unemployed and farmers, he emphasised.
