New Delhi, Jul 27 : Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment, Virendra Kumar on Thursday felicitated International Para Swimmer Satendra Singh Lohia, who scripted history by crossing the English Channel to and fro.
Speaking on the occasion, Kumar congratulated Lohia for his outstanding effort in bringing glory to the nation.
The Minister interacted with Lohia about his successful and inspiring journey, achievements and challenges, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment communique said.
Lohia also met Rajesh Aggarwal, secretary, DEPwD, along with the senior officers of the Department.
Aggarwal took suggestions from Lohia for the Sports Centre, which will be established at Gwalior, the statement added.
