Holi is celebrated in every part of India. It celebrates the eternal and divine love of God Radha Krishna. The day also signifies the victory of good over evil, as it commemorates the triumph of Lord Nrusingha over Hiranyakashipu.
10 March-CISF Raising Day
Under an act of parliament on 10 March 1969, central industrial security force was established. The main aim was to provide better protection and security to the industrial undertakings of the country. Every year 10 March is marked as CISF Raising Day. The vision of CISF is to provide protection and security.
15 March-World Consumer Rights Day
To aware the people of the nation about their rights, World Consumer Rights Day is commemorated.
16 March-National Vaccination Day
National Vaccination Day is to highlight the importance of vaccination. The first dose of oral polio vaccine was given on 16 March 1995. Vaccine is essential to eradicate a disease completely from the earth.
18 March-Ordnance Factories Day
India’s oldest ordnance factory was set up on 18 March 1802 at Cossipore, Kolkata. Every year on this day exhibitions is held all across India by displaying the guns, rifles, artillery and ammunition.
24 March-World Tuberculosis Day
