Five killed, 2 injured in road accident in Giridih

Ranchi, Nov 18 : At least 5 people were killed, and two injured when a marriage vehicle rammed into a tree at Baghmara Lukaiah village in Giridih district of Jharkhand on Saturday morning, police said.

Police sources said that all the people were returning home from the marriage procession when the Scorpio driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle collided with a tree at Lukaiah village in Bharkatta OP.

In this accident, five people died while two people were injured.

The local police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to Giridih Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
