Ranchi, Jan 26 : Mahendra Singh Dhoni on Thursday visited JSCA International Stadium Complex and met Team India ahead of their first T20I of the three-match series against New Zealand.
In a video, which was released by the BCCI on social media, Dhoni is seen interacting with Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav.
Ranchi is the home town of Dhoni.
India begi their T20 series against New Zealand beginning before the all-important Test series against Australia. The series will decide whether India qualifies for the World Test Championship final.
All eyes will be on Prithvi Shaw who is staging a comeback on the back of majestic performances in domestic circuit, especially his record-breaking 379 against Assam in the Ranji Trophy tops the list.
