Death toll from Israeli strikes on Gaza on Friday rises to 32: Health ministry
Jerusalem, Dec 1 : The death toll from Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip on Friday morning has increased to 32, the enclave’s Health Ministry said.
Earlier in the day, Al Arabiya broadcaster reported, citing the Palestinian Health Ministry, that six people died and dozens were injured in Israeli strikes.
“The number of victims of the massacres of the Israeli occupation within three hours after the end of the truce rose to 32; dozens sustained injuries of varying degrees; the majority [dead and wounded] were women and children,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier in the day, the Israel Defence Forces said Hamas broke the humanitarian pause, prompting Israel to resume combat.
The Wall Street Journal reported late on Thursday that the two sides had agreed to extend a temporary humanitarian pause for eighth day.
However, no official confirmation has been made yet.
The latest truce expired at 07:00 a.m. local time (05:00 GMT) on Friday.
