Just a matter of common sense how the harbingers of our democracy can remain with the blinkers on and choose not to see what happened either side.
On May 4 the Manipur incident took place, the FIR was filed and all that but the CM Biren Singh was with cotton on his eyes and ears till now, now assigned to take the ‘stringent’ action against the culprits after almost two months.
Yet the CM Singh came to know about that only on Thursday.
Really ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’ and hats off to the double engine pattern.
The Home Minister shed off his inertia only after the SC sounded its diktat asking the double engine drivers to explain by July 28.
Sad that the PM has compared the incident with that what happened in Rajasthan and Chhatishgarh!
Everything taken together, it speaks plenty about what a double Engine ‘sarkar’ can be and what a ‘Mother of Democracy ‘ is all about.
