It was not for a day or a month but for long five months a minor girl was confined, tortured physically, beaten up with several bruises on her different parts of the body, that was the irony of a minor girl from Jharkhand.
May be this is not the first such instance where minor girls or boys are mercilessly contained by the couple in Gurugram and given sub-human treatments and some of them being indescribable.
The above girl, from Jharkhand, had come to the city for a new life but at last fate stopped smiling on her and led her to wrongful confinement and abject torture. And for what?
The couple who employed her has been arrested for alleged torture and assault. But that does not end the irony there. Now in a battered state of health the victim goes under treatment in the city hospital.
The minor, originally from Jharkhand, is now undergoing treatment at a city hospital. Visuals of the her injuries, which have surfaced online, showed her face, hands and feet, bruised and battered.
The matter would have buried in ignorance but for the One Stop Centre in Gurugram that the FIR was filed and she was taken to the hospital.
‘Clothes Torn, Beaten Mercilessly’ A police officer told The Indian Express, “The girl had injuries on several parts of her body – face, arms, hands and feet. On one of her arms, her skin had been burnt. A preliminary probe has found that the couple allegedly accused the minor of stealing food and not working properly and would beat her up as a result. They allegedly deprived her of food and gave her leftovers to eat.
