Son of soil Kameshwar gets UN Millenium Fellowship

Jammu, Sept 25 : Son of the soil, Kameshwar Sharma, third year student of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala, Punjab has been awarded Millennium Fellowship by the United Nations Academic Impact and MCN, New York, United States.

As per handout issued here, the application process for the Class of 2022 was very competitive, with over 30,000 applicants from more than 2,400 campuses across 140 nations out of which 200 campuses (8 percent) worldwide have been selected to host 3,000 plus Millennium Fellows in 2022.

Son of former international wrestler and Senior Superintendent of Police in J&K Police, Dushyant Sharma, the lad have been selected as a Millennium Fellow for the Class of 2022.

“This is a vital time to meaningfully engage to advance the Sustainable Development Goals, and it will be grateful to have you in the Millennium Fellowship community,” the handout read.
