Priyanka Chopra Confirms To Attend The Met Gala 2023: To join Alia Bhatt On Red Carpet; Who Will Make Her Bebut
The highly anticipated Met Gala 2023 is all set to take place in less than a week, and the excitement for fashion’s biggest night is at its peak. Now We have one more Bollywood star to watch out for at the Met Gala. The global icon Priyanka Chopra on Tuesday confirmed that she will be among the many celebrity guests attending the gala.
Priyanka has been on a whirlwind round of global promotions for her upcoming series Citadel. Amidst the many media interactions, Priyanka Chopra has revealed that she will, in fact, be walking the Met red carpet this year. Also attending from India, is actress Alia Bhatt who will mark her maiden appearance at the fashion event this year.
Variety’s Senior Culture and Events Editor Marc Malkin tweeted that the actress told him she will be at the Met Gala, on Monday. Priyanka also dropped a hint about her look. “Confirmed! @priyankachopra just told me she will be at the #MetGala on Monday. The Theme for Met Gala 2023 is ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, which will pay tribute to the former Chanel creative director, who died in 2019.
This will be Priyanka’s fourth appearance at the Met Gala. The actress has previously attended the gala across 2017 to 2019. While on the first 2 occasions she wore Ralph Lauren, her last Met outing in 2019 saw her turn out in Dior.
