Prabhas, Deepika Padukone starrer Project K to be release in two parts, Details Inside
The futuristic filmProject K, which features the enviable cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone, is expected to be one of the big-budgeted entertainers that have ever been made in Indian cinema.
Mounted on a huge canvas, the film is touted to be one of the biggest entertainers of all time as it will feature the trio as intriguing characters. Since the expanse of the plot is humongous, the makers would be spreading their story into two parts.
The first part of the movie will establish the world and conflict of this magnum opus, but the entire drama will unfold in the second part, much like what happened in the Bahubali franchise.
In the movie, the Big B’s character is along the lines of Ashwatthama from the Mahabharata, whereas Prabhas has a superhero spin to his role. Reports says, the film is set in a futuristic world with never seen before visuals around the possibility of 3rd World War.
The film’s director, Nag Ashwin, recently revealed that he had finished filming the first part, which included Prabhas’ opening scene. He went on to say that Prabhas appears to be in a cool scene. The project, which is scheduled for release next year, is bankrolled on a large budget by Vyjayanthi Films.
Deepika’s character in the film is being kept under wraps but its touted to be one of the greatest female characters of cinema. The film is expected to release in April 2024. Meanwhile, Prabhas has ‘Adipurish’ lined up for release this year.
Besides Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, the sci-fi film that has been shot in Hindi and Telegu simultaneously will also star Disha Patani. The film is expected to drop in the month of April next year and the team will make an official announcement soon.
