No No… Antava! Amid Pushpa 2 rejection rumors, Samantha Prabhu writes cryptic note about being kind
Pushpa: The Rule is expected to much more larger-than-life than its prequel, thanks to Allu’s flamboyance & swagger, dialogues, slick-action and music score. Apart from Allu’s swagger, Samantha’s Oo Antava caught the pulse of the nation.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu impressed everyone with her sensuous dance number Oo Antava in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The song became a rang even before the film’s release. Samantha’s scintillating moves in the song were appreciated by critics as well as the audiences. There were also rumours that Samantha would play a significant part in Pushpa: The Rule, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
Now, a fresh report in OTTPlay.com suggests that Pushpa 2 director Sukumar has approached Samantha once again for yet another special number in the sequel. And, the news is that Samantha has rejected the offer as she is apparently not ready to do special numbers at this point in her career.
According to the reports, the producers are “working hard” to persuade her. It is also rumored that director Sukumar constructed a tiny role for Samantha and linked it to the plotline. It will be interesting to see if the actress reconsiders her decision.
But fans would love to see her in another sizzling dance number and shake a leg with everyone’s favourite Pushpa (Allu Arjun).
The actress, who has been suffering from the autoimmune disorder Myositis, took to Instagram Stories and published a selfie with a letter imploring followers to show kindness to each other.
In the caption, she mentioned that no one can ever know what battles people fight. “Be Kind!!” she added, posting a selfie of herself with nude make-up. Samantha looked to be wearing a grey shirt with her hair untied in the close-up photo.
On the professional front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Shakuntalam. She will also make her debut in Bollywood with Citadel, also starring Varun Dhawan.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun is reportedly filming ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ in Russia. The nation’s crush Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Srivalli in the second part too.
