Badshah apologizes after the controversy over the song sanak; says ‘have taken measures to change…’
Badhshah, who is known for belting some hit tracks Paani Paani, Jugnu, and more, but his recently released song ‘Sanak’ has hurt the sentiments of some people. Seeing the growing controversy over the song ‘Sanak’, the singer has now shared a post on social media in which he has apologized to those who are objecting to its lyrics.
A complaint was submitted to the police in Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Friday against the singer for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of people by using the word ‘Bholenath’ in a song that contains objectionable lyrics, a police official said. The complaint was submitted by an organization called ‘Parshuram Sena’ and action will be taken after the allegations are investigated, MG Road police station in-charge Santosh Singh said.
Badshah has now taken to social media to pen a long note.
“It has been brought to my attention that one of my recent releases, Sanak, sadly seems to have hurt the sentiments of some people. I would never willingly or unknowingly cause offence to anyone’s sentiments. I bring my artistic creations and musical compositions to you, my fans, with the utmost sincerity and passion,” Badshah posted on Instagram.
Badshah has obliged.
“In light of this recent development, I have taken proactive measures to change some parts of the song and actioned the replacement with this new version on all digital platforms to further avoid hurting anyone. The replacement process takes a few days before the changes will reflect on all platforms, I request everyone to be patient during this period. I humbly offer my sincerest apologies to those whom I may have unknowingly hurt. My fans remain my bedrock, and I shall always hold them in the highest esteem and with boundless affection,” he stated.

The recently released song of Badshah. In fact, the rapper has used Mahadev’s name in the song, on which a priest of the Mahakaleshwar temple has lashed out at the emperor. The priest of Ujjain Mahakaleshwar temple is very angry with the emperor for using objectionable words in the name of Mahadev. He said, if the song is not changed, he will get an FIR lodged against the singer.
Recently, Badshah was in the headlines for his wedding rumours with his longtime girlfriend and Punjabi actress Isha Rikhi. As per the media reports, the couple was planning a gurdwara wedding in north India in April which was to be attended by close family members and friends. However, the rapper rubbished the rumours with an Instagram story calling the speculations ‘baseless’.
