Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma spotted going on bikes without helmets; Mumbai Police takes note
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma made headlines recently for travelling in bike, where both of them were not wearing helmets. Soon after Big B’s picture and Anushka’s videos surfaced on the Internet, netizens were seen tagging Mumbai Police and informed it about actors violating traffic rules.
On May 15, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share pictures of him travelling on a bike with a stranger. He wrote, “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped , shorts and yellowed T – shirt owner.”

Earlier, Anushka ditched her car after a tree fell on the road and took a bike to work. As the video went viral, the actress was badly criticised on social media. A user wrote, “What about helmets dude?” Another said, “Na madam ne helmet pehna hai na uske bodyguard ne.” Few people tagged the Mumbai police urging them to take necessary action against Anushka. In reply, Mumbai Police informed that the traffic police have been informed about the same. Their comment read, “We have shared this with traffic branch.”

Amitabh Bachchan recently resumed his work after recovering from his injury he incurred during the shoot on the sets of his upcoming project ‘Project K’. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles. It is slated to release in January 2024.
Anushka, on the other hand, was last seen in a cameo appearance in the Netflix film Qala last year. She will be making her Cannes debut this month. Anushka is all set to return to films later this year with Chakda Xpress. Directed by Prosit Roy, the biopic is based on the journey of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
