Patna, Dec 14 : Pranav Adani, Director of Enterprises of Adani Group of companies profusely appreciated Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and announced for investments worth Rs 8,700
Crores in Bihar.
Adani on second and last day of investors summit–Bihar Business Connect 2023, appreciated
Chief Minister Kumar for his performance as Railway Minister and also as CM of Bihar.
Kumar had done remarkably well at the Centre and in Bihar, to cater to the needs of the people,
he added.
Director of Enterprises said that Kumar had inaugurated a port of Adani group in 2003 when he was Railway Minister.
Kumar had the vision of online reservation in Railways which was now busiest online reservation of the world, he remarked.
“Our group supports vision of Chief Minister Kumar who has done good job in Bihar in almost all sectors,” Adani said adding that his group would invest Rs 8,700 Crores under various projects in different parts of Bihar which would also help in generating nearly 10,000 jobs.
His group would invest Rs 2,500 to set up cement manufacturing unit in Purnea district of Bihar, he added.
Director of Enterprises said that his group was planning to invest Rs 1200 Crores to set up big warehouse in Patna.
Godowns would also be constructed in Purnea, Begusarai, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Kishanganj
and Araria. His group would also set up EV charging stations in the state, he added.
Kumar who was present at the dais, also felicitated Adani by draping him in a shawl.
He also responded happily by clapping when Adani made announcement for investments in his presence.
