Lucknow, Jan 4: Uttar Pradesh government shifted four IPS officers across the state while the city of Prayagraj got a new SSP, here on Tuesday.
The transfer orders were given on late Monday night, officials here said on Tuesday.
Mr Ajay Kumar, who was SP Hardoi, has been made the new SSP of Prayagraj replacing Sarvasesth Tripathi, who has been attached to Police Headquarters, Lucknow.
Mr Rajesh Dwivedi, who was SP Intelligence in Police Headquarters, has been given the charge of SP Hardoi. Mr Om Prakash Singh, who was DCP in Lucknow Commissionerate, has been made SP Intelligence Police Headquarters.
