Bareilly (UP), Aug 28 : Six persons, including three children, were killed and 15 others were injured when a tanker rammed into a tractor trolley in Baheri area of the district on Sunday, a senior officer said here.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Raj Kumar Agarwal said that residents of Sitarganj in Uttarakhand were going to Uttam Nagar on a tractor trolley. “Near Sirsa police outpost on Kichha-Khatima road a tanker hit the tractor trolley in which Suman Kaur, Amandeep, Raja, Gurunamo Bai (30), Jassi (28) and one more person were killed on the spot,” he said.
The SP said that 15 people were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the government hospital. “Condition of three injured, including Charanjeet Kaur, Devendra Singh and Moto Bhai, is stated to be serious,” he said.
