Chandigarh, April 12: The Punjab Government on Tuesday declared the Mahavir Jayanti/Baisakhi/Birth Anniversary of Dr. B R Ambedkar falling on April 14 as a holiday also under the interpretation of the Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act-1881 besides already declared gazetted holiday. Stating this here on Tuesday, an official spokesperson said that a notification to this effect has been issued.
