Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav Reaches Ranchi
Ranchi, Feb 13 : Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday afternoon reached Ranchi as he is due to appear before a special CBI court in connection with a case of the fodder scam on February 15. The court of special CBI Judge SK Sashi will announce its verdict on the Doranda treasury case of the fodder scam on February 15. The court had directed all 99 accused including Lalu Yadav to be physically present. For the next 48 days, Lalu Yadav will be in Ranchi.
Meanwhile, to welcome their leader a huge crowd of supporters along with party workers had gathered outside the airport. The workers were equipped with Dhol and Nagadas to welcome their leader. After Lalu came out of the airport, the RJD men gave a grand welcome to their leader who later drove in a convoy all the way to the state guest house where he will be staying for the next two days.
During his stay in Ranchi, he will be also holding meetings with party leaders. Sources in RJD claimed that a meeting between Lalu Yadav and Chief Minister Hemant Soren is also likely to be held.
