Vedant Bags 2 Medals At Danish Open

Copenhagen, April 18: India’s Vedant Madhavan showcased an incredible run at the Danish Open swimming meet as he bagged two medals including a gold.

The 16-year-old, who is a son of popular Indian actor R. Madhavan, clocked 08:17.28 in 800 Freestyle event to clinch the top spot on Sunday.

He has won the silver in 1,500 m freestyle with a personal best time of 15.57.86.

Two-time Olympian Sajan Prakash claimed the gold clocking 1.59.27 on Friday.

The youngster had an incredible year in 2021 as he won a bronze at the Latvian Open Swimming Champion event. Later he went on to win seven medals (4 silver and 3 bronze) at the Junior National Aquatic Championships in Bengaluru.
