New Delhi: Bangladesh Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday met Union Minister Anurag Thakur, and both leaders discussed a range of issues.
Thakur, who holds the portfolio of Information and Broadcasting, said they discussed issues like people-to-people exchanges.
“A pleasure meeting H.E Dr. Hasan Mahmud Information & Broadcasting Minister of Bangladesh,” Thakur said in a tweet.
“We discussed a range of issues, including people-to-people exchanges, IFFI (International Film Festival of India) bilateral films production amongst others. We enjoy strong and historic ties; this will be further strengthened,” he said.
The Bangladesh Information and Broadcasting Minister is on a visit to India.
As a part of people-to-people initiatives, the Minister on Monday inaugurated Bangabandhu Media Center at the Press Club of India.
