PV Sindhu Brings Laurels To Nation, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Congratulates For Winning Swiss Open Title
Bhubaneswar, Mar 28: Bringing laurels to the country, PV Sindhu won the Swiss Open Super 300 title by beating Thailand’s Busanan Ongramrungphan in the final at the St Jakobshalle arena in Basel. The double Olympic medallist registered a 21-16, 21-8 win over Ongramrungphan in 49 minutes.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated India’s ace shuttler PV Sindhu for winning the clinching the women’s singles title of Swiss Open Super 300.

This is Sindhu’s second title of the year. Earlier in January, she had won the Syed Modi International tittle.
Another Indian shuttler, HS Prannoy, finished the tournament as runner-up after losing to Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie 21-12, 21-18 in the Men’s singles final.
Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik congratulated both PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy for their achievement at the tournament.
