Cuttack, Jan 30 : India’s 14-year-old shuttler Unnati Hooda clinched Odisha Open Super 100 women singles title beating compatriot Smit Toshniwal in the finals on Sunday. Hooda defeated Toshniwal by 21-18, 21-11 in the match that lasted for 35 minutes. Earlier, she had defeated tournament favourite Malvika Bansod 24-22, 24-22 in a thrilling contest making her way to the final. While Toshiniwal ousted another favourite Ashmita Chaliha in the semifinal. In the mixed doubles, MR Arjun and Treesa Jolly finished their campaign as runner-up after losing 16-21, 20-22 to the Sri Lankan pair of Sachin Dias and Thilini Hendahewa.
