India Team For FIH Pro League Announced
New Delhi, Feb 22: Hockey India on Tuesday named a 20-member team for the FIH Men’s Pro League matches against Spain to be held on February 26 and 27 in Bhubaneswar.
The team will be led by midfielder Manpreet Singh, while Harmanpreet Singh will be the vice-captain. The team will see a new face in young forward Sukhjeet Singh from Punjab.
Chief Coach Graham Reid said: “We have chosen a balanced group to play Spain and are looking forward to playing in Bhubaneswar. It includes another new debutant striker Sukhjeet Singh who impressed during the selection camp last month and has been working hard since selection in the Core Probable’s Group.”
