Cuttack, May 21:After a huge gap of almost 2 years and 8 months, the scheduled T-20 match between India & South Africa on June 12, 2022, has many good surprises for the cricket lovers.
To introduce the required discipline a few new strictures are in place. Like ban on bringing water bottles or water pouches into the stadium.
Barabati stadium at Cuttack is going to wear some new features this time around.
After stalling of the last Match between India & West Indies, the Odisha Cricket Association(OCA) seems prepared to replenish the lost enthusiasm.
The broadcaster STAR sports claimed that, the stadium this time offers the players to play under Led flood lights which can provide 3,500 Lux label illumination.
In addition, the entire field shall be sand-filled arrangements to absorb water accumulation in case of rain.
Besides, the OCA has made elaborate arrangement to cover the field with specially made polyethene covers those are being flown from London for the first time.
To handle the technicalities, 25 people with required expertise are coming from Eden Garden.
For the much awaited match at Cuttack, the online sale of tickets will start from June 1 and in the subsequent phase the offline tickets shall be made available on June 9 and 10.
