DC Opener Prithvi Shaw Discharged From Hospital
Mumbai, May 15: Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for a bout of typhoid, the franchise said on Sunday.
“Prithvi Shaw has been discharged from the hospital where he was being treated for a bout of typhoid. He has returned to the team hotel, where he is currently recuperating, while being monitored by the DC medical team,” DC said in a statement.
Shaw was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. He has missed last three DC matches- against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
In the nine games, he has played so far this season, Shaw has scored 259 runs at an average of 28.77 and a strike rate of 160.
